In a sweet moment of loving between mama and three year old, mama assures “Even though we have Mattea, you will always be my baby. Just like daddy is grandma’s baby.”

“Yes,” replies three.

“When I’m old like grandma, and you’re old like mama, will you still sit on my knee?”

“Okay, ” grins three.

“And when I’m old like great-grandma, and you’re old like grandma, will we still cuddle?”

“Yup,” nods three, “But mama…when I’m old like grandma, I can go to sleep all by myself.”

  1. That reminds me of “I’ll love you forever” by Robert Munsch. My mom gave it to me the day I left for school and I balled when I sat down to read it.

You have very thoughtful and imaginative children Anno, you and Sean must be very proud!
