Wild strawberries

Standard

Today we stained the picnic table, picked up our newly approved van (we can now drive it in Alberta! Thanks Alberta!), took the kids to the park, took the kids to the church where they played in the parking lot with Sean while I mowed the FREAKING HUGE lawn, and then looked for wild strawberries in the church parking lot. The parking lot is totally full of TINY strawberries (smaller than the nail on a baby finger)…. we had to lay on the ground and get up close to nature to find them at all.

A full day. Now the kids are tired and grouchy (especially Elijah, who is overtired today) and we have to find something to feed them for supper. Early to bed tonight, as our friends Vanessa and Fleming come tomorrow for a visit. Can’t wait.
