Breathing

Standard

Never again this moment

Littles dancing in underwear

Angle wings and shoulder blades indistinguishable in this light

Tiny one, toddling along at any cost to be part of their game,

Part of their dance

Never again,

6 1/2, 4, 18 months

Puppy dozing at front door

Christmas lights and el nino snow

Gone even before pen kisses paper

So grateful for this breath.

  1. awe! : ) I tell my shirtless children all the time that their little shoulderblades are where wings would grow. They love to look at them in the mirror. : ) Sweet. We miss you! GOSH your kids are BIG!
